But if you lie down and imagine running once a week, you'll still get about 8% fitter. Great news, no? The running I can't do, but the imagination I possess!

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

in a world beyond my reach, once upon a time i was in great shape and ran marathons...i still run but in my mind...and i cry in my heart over all i have lost.

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

I'm not sure the Greek pantheon is the one I'm heading toward... My journey seems to be taking me closer to Budda than Atlas!

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

Good on you. Well, you have one out of two to start with already. Shouldn't be too hard after that then, right?

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

Yep, the mind can be strong, but you're right: we don't always want to. It's just that it can be so tiring. can't it?

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

Congratulations to your friend on deciding to run The Marathon. Seems like this is a time of fitness as I've started gyming again since Wednesday. I still have the potential to be one of those "Young Gods."

Re: Battle Against the Greek Gods

I don't like when they say that it's hopeless. So I have to not agree with that.

How many times haven't doctors told the patient that their case is hopeless and yet they're doing the impossible things anyway?!

All is about WANTING TO.

And we don't want to, do we? *lol*
