Blogging has been a joy and a struggle for me right from the very start. While it satisfies my urge to "create" something from time to time, I find that my inspiration doesn't occur often enough to gain me a faithful following. I know I could write everyday if I chose to, but I wouldn't be happy with the content, so I don't. Instead, I wait until something happens, or a thought occurs to me, before I sit down and spill out out for anyone who might stumble across my blog.

I guess there's not really a driving point to this comment either... I just thought I'd share...

You're always welcome to share whatever pops up.

If people do so, I'm always pleased to read any thoughts they might have. If not, I'll certainly know that my blogging friends will read it sooner or later and I hope they get at least something out of it.

I do agree however: people should definitely not give in to the strain of 'having' to post or comment.

I couldn't agree more. Blogging is just the best writing game I've ever played, and it doesn't matter that hundreds of people don't flock to my site (just as well!) because I get to work through what I'm thinking and write to formal constraints. I've always enjoyed what you do for the reason that I always learn something interesting from it. So just do your thing and have fun.
