Very insightful and, if I may speak on behalf of your other readers (Shut up guys! I'M talking right now...), much appreciated.

I've never been inclined to do one of thse lists, and I actually dread being "tagged" anymore... However, reading through yours, I realize that a lot of the questions work well for me. You just might see a similar page over at the old Caffeinated Mind in the not too distant future.

    Thanks!

This is really very cool - love it. And it is nice to know more about you. I always had a feeling that you were a romantic.

Hey, I need something like that too. Mind if I jump on the bandwagon too?

    hehe

There is enough to go around for everyone. Go ahead (I can't seem to get comments to work on the page, but it's supposed to become an ongoing thing anyway). I'll come and visit yours.

You haven't heard of memes have you?
  • Napfisk · 3 years ago
Meme: A unit of cultural information, such as a cultural practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another. For mimetics, see here: http://www.simonyi.ox.ac.uk/dawkins/WorldOfDawk...

Coined by zoologist Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene.

From Gk. μίμημα, a copying, a representation.

No no, Internet memes! See http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=...

    (Definition 4 and 5)

    Wrong dictionary! ;)

Your 105 questions is a "meme". There are many other memes around and people "tag" you to do them. Through these memes, personal info is discovered.

Actually I tagged sharlet with a meme before and she did the same to me later :-)

It can be fun, but I feel that you should not force it upon others, since some bloggers find it... boring? difficult? So I do the meme's when others tag me, but I've stopped to tag others. Or rather: I tag the whole blog universe - meaning that any one that wants to do it is welcome to pick it up.

Nice list anyway, or rather: nice to get to know you a little bit better :-)

I think that it's always up to the blogger him/herself how much you want to expose over the internet about yourself.

For me, I accept the variations. I like the variations. Whether it be the writing style, layout, content importance or what ever.

Everything is interesting in several aspects and I can always learn something from it :-)

I liked the 100 Questions. Except on thing. How can you detest rain?
  • Napfisk · 3 years ago
Hallway four: I'll add a bit of nuance perhaps. I like rain in films, on pictures, in poems and songs, I like looking at rain and listening to it patter on my window pane when I'm in bed in the dark - I even find it grotesquely funny when I see people running from a downpour and I'm snug inside (pinkie to mouth); I just hate being in it, when I need to be somewhere, when I'm fresh out the shower and the moistness already permeates every fibre of my garb, when a brolly doesn't help a bit because of the gusts of wind that soak your feet and legs and my hair sticks to my face from the dampness that is everywhere, and everyone in the room smells of wet dog. (As a matter of fact, it started yesterday at eight or so and today at noon it's still going on - I never knew there was so much of it).

Tell me, perhaps you do like all that? If so it definitely needs elaboration : - )

Napfisk: I'm 100% with you on rain. It's an outing killer and it makes such a mess of things. I hate it when I'm wearing open-toed sandals and it rains. I get home with my feet dirty and I have to tiptoe all the way to the bathroom and get them washed before I can do anything else. Not to mention thoroughly wash my sandals. Maybe I'm just too pragmatic/practical a person to find rain "romantic". And you spelt "definitely" wrong. Hehe! :D
