Dotcomslashblog: Nothing Doing, And It’s OK

  • lisa · 3 years ago
If you decide that you're gonna laze around you gotta do it right and not feel guilty about it. You'll tire of it eventually, wipe the chip crumbs off the couch, close the tv, and get busy with work. Until then, you have my full support.

Yuppi-de-daisy, Lisa. That's exactly what I meant. But, even from all the traditional chitchat tonight, I got a job lead. That's good, no? You nevah know what it's worth, but I'll let ya know what comes of it.

Couchwise, not a lot of crumbs here, though. Maybe you should come over – mess it up a bit – meanwhile, I'm doing okidokeley. Thx 4 commenting, I glanced over your blog and I kinda liked it already... I must take a closer peek! See ya soon.

I'm not upto much, other than chilling out like you. German classes every morning to noon on weekdays. It's far from summer here. Mostly overcast and wet. I find it hard to do much in summer too. It's just too hot in India during the summer. Normally around 40C. Imagine even moving out of a chair in that temperature! Finally got an AC this year, so I was able to do some stuff. Antwerp sounds exciting. So does brewski.

it is very okay to just do nothing. trust me, i feel the same way. i do know however you are right in saying not everyone understands it.

take it easy and enjoy. knowing that you are well and happy, makes me happy.

and if you are terribly wondering what if, you can go and pick up some more forms just in case...and get in that particular line...and admit your silly comment...girls love honesty and humbleness. a nice girl would understand with no problem and find something funny to see in the story...just the fact that you go back would sweep her off her feet...just saying, if you have nothing to do...lol..

    hugs. always.

It seems the only time I'm content doing nothing is when I'm supposed to be doing something... and vice versa.

Oooh I'm with cuppojoe here. I'm contrary enough to only really be able to steal free time when it's mortgaged to another activity. At the moment I'm trying to do the editorial clean-up on half a book and I HATE this task. In consequence I'm finding all kinds of ways to do nothing, and the heat doesn't help either...

Hey Napfisk. It's been a while. I agree. It's summer, and people are busy enjoying themselves, so blogging suffers.
