Dotcomslashblog: Why Don’t We Shoot The Homeless?

I can think of a reason not to - they're human beings! A rather interesting and sarcastic way of looking at the issue though.

Like I said, the question isn't: 'Hey, why don't we...' It is more like: 'Why is it that we don't...' I agree that is the ambiguity in the question and the reason why it's fascinating to examine.

Personally, I find it very comforting that there could be something so basic and fundamental that stops us from behaving like this. More fundamental than morality, because I don't always have much trust in that - it's a quirky value at best if you ask me.

In the end, of course, homeless people (and my heart truly bleeds for them no matter what) have nothing to do with the query investigated here. And shooting them is even less of realistic suggestion. Glad you saw that.

But thanks for commenting, Leon. I fear there will be a few more soon. ;-)

some of these people just take it all for granted. i'm sure you're all familiar with the homeless woman blog from london i think? she has a law degree, but homeless. i think that's correct, it's a degree of some sort anyway.

if anyone needs to be shot, it's these people with power and wealth in their possesion and not using it for the good of mankind. but why should they i hear you all say... hmm, i think we all know the answer to that one.
